Dr. Chin is a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist who specializes in providing oral health care to infants, children and adolescents and individuals with special needs. Her practice philosophy is centered on promoting preventive care and to helping parents and children develop a healthy and happy dental home. With her light-hearted approach and welcoming demeanor, kids of all ages have grown to truly love going to the dentist.
Dr. Chin earned her undergraduate degree in Cornell University and went on to Columbia University for her Doctorate of Dental Surgery. She completed her postgraduate training at the competitive Pediatric Dentistry residency at the Children’s Hospital at Long Island Jewish Medical Center. She gained extensive experience treating medically compromised children, children with special needs, as well as dealing with emergency situations. She now volunteers her time as an attending for the new pediatric dental residents at the same hospital. She educates and mentors these young residents with her knowledge and experience.
In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her husband, family and friends, traveling and staying active. She just welcomed a beautiful baby boy in 2018!
Marilyn has been a pediatric dental assistant for eight years. As a loving mother, she extends her love of children to all those she encounters at work. Not only does her heart extend from home to the workplace but to soup kitchens as well. In her spare time, Marilyn enjoys living a healthy lifestyle, spending time with family, working out and cooking.
Gabby has worked with Dr. Chin as a Dental Assistant for almost ten years. Recently, she graduated as a Board Certified Registered Dental Hygienist, achieving multiple honors and awards, including the “Special Care in Dentistry” award. Now, she is excited to join Dr. Chin as her RDH!
Gabby enjoys spending time with family and friends and travels the world on her free time. She also has a passion for swimming! She joined her first competitive swim team at age five, swam on two USA swim teams, was captain of her high school team, and holds a NJCAA Medal. She even worked at Rockaway Beach as a Lifeguard for twelve summers.
